Master Bathroom Design in 2019

BLUE CEILING

Designer Eddie Lee reimagined this master bath as "a mix of English charm and Asian lushness, with some European classicism added in," he says. While Farrow & Ball paint mimics a cloudless heavens, hand-painted panels grace the walls.

BLACK TILES

In the grand shower of the contemporary beach house, the walls are clad in black porcelain tiles which soar up to a wall-to-wall skylight. A built-in niche stores other necessities and shampoo.

ORANGE ACCENTS

Pagoda mirrors give "a little jolt" to the master bath in this Bahamas home, made by Amanda Lindroth.

BEAUTIFUL BUILT-INS

"it is a small bathroom so I wanted everything built-in, precise, and tidy, " says designer Barbara Westbrook of this Atlanta cottage. "You would not believe the amount of people who pass through it and say they're dying to get inside that bathtub."

DUELING SINKS

In a California beach bungalow made by Chad Eisner, symmetrical sinks flank the sides of the master bathroom.
